Spiritan 3rd Afriki Week Celebration
Spiritan University College is an institution of higher Learning founded by the Congregation of the Holy Spirit, a religious congregation within the Catholic Church. Under the motto “Spiritus Veritatis” (Spirit of Truth), the University aims at disseminating the truth of the African nation.
Spiritan University College is primarily a place for the formation of catholic priests, religious and lay missionaries. But some couple of years back, the seminary opened its door to the public, thus making the training of young minds to be moral and effective civil leaders of the society one of its major concerns. The seminary university aims at being a place of academic excellence and moral rectitude.
Spiritan SRC is a students` council working since 2008 providing platform to youth. The SRC celebrates Afriki Week in remembrance of Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah civitatisGhanaiensisconditor and to promote the unification and growth of Africa through Seminars, Fashion, Cultural Display, Rep your Alma Mater, Games, et cetera.
The Spiritan Afriki Week Celebration provides a platform for key issues to be explored and debated. Annually attended by 200-300 students, the event presents a holistic view of Africa and Development. It encompasses various sectors from science to community, industry, business, policy and governance.
The 3rd Spiritan Afriki Week Celebration is titled: “Pursue of African Growth.”

I Wear African is also an effort to bring out the best talents from thestudents to participate in the National Private Universities Students` Association of Ghana Par gent.
